One of the most exciting moments from Brave Horse III was watching Maren Smith and Candelos walk into the junior hunter ring for the very first time.

Following a spring of hard work, Maren and Morocco started out the weekend with a 3rd place finish in the 10k JR/AM derby out of nearly 20 entries. Missing 2nd place by just half a point.

Over the weekend they worked hard to finish in the top 3 on the flat and over fences in the junior hunters. We are so proud of their accomplishments and love being a part of their journey together.

Congratulations to Carson Haug and her own, Cheers, on their best weekend yet! Since their first show in April, Carson has been putting in the work to create a correct and confident young horse.

No, you aren’t seeing double (or triple) It’s another grey horse that finished with a tri color last weekend!

It was Marissa Azua’s first time back in the show ring in over a decade on FRSH “Sullivan”

Marissa joined us last fall to get back in the saddle and it’s been so much fun honing in on correct balance, feel, and pressure. She and Danny have worked very hard this spring to feel ready to show.
