Our Shenandoah Recreation Committee's purpose is to promote community enrichment, pride and inspiration by focusing our efforts into our youth, community and resident's futures. We will also work hand-and-hand with other non-profit community organizations. If you are interested in volunteering in our group, simply follow our posted community events and step-up :)

It was a magical Friday evening at DSI's annual Coal Cracker Christmas. Thanks to everyone who helped make this free community event a success! From the little elves who cleaned up Main Street to all the wonderful volunteers...our trolley sponsor, Shenandoah Pharmacy, our music sponsor, JT Thomas, and the Shenandoah Valley Highschool girls, Shenandoah Recreation who donated the candy canes, our special Santa and Mrs. Claus, DSI Board members who helped in so many ways... the list goes on and on and on! What a way to kick off the holiday season. Thank you!
