Vetrans su***de rates in 2001 was 6,000 that year and it steadily grew in numbers to a high of 6,718 in 2018. With 2023 being the most recent data with 6,398.

Male Vetrans are 1.3 times more likely to commit su***de over their civilian counterparts, female Vetrans are 2.2 times more likely than theirs civilian counterparts.
