We as a club were admittedly late in making this happen, but here it is. We dedicated our training range to our former President, Rodney Allshouse. Years ago, the club was in financial dire straits, the grounds were fair but deteriorating, the membership was also on a steady decline. Rodney was asked to run for Club President.

He did.

And it wasn’t easy. Often he had days that weren’t pretty. But his moral compass, faith, patience, leadership and work led to bringing the club to a place where membership pulled together, creating much needed capital improvements, including the creation of a new range dedicated to fi****ms education for both law enforcement and civilian self defense courses alike.

This weekend we are proud to dedicate the training range to the man who essentially saved the club for the next generation. It is with great love and respect, we say thank you, Rodney!

The July pistol match will be this Saturday 8-1-26. We will also try and get started around 9:30 so try to be on time for a 9:00 sign up. Poor weather could ruin our plans but I am sure rain or shine a few of us will be there. See the link to sign up just paste it into your search if the link will not work for you.

Sign ups will begin at 9:00am, cost will be 10$ for ICBGC members and 20$ Non club members. Match will start following a safety briefing at 9:50am. If anyone is interested in helping setup that will begin around 8:30. Help is always welcome. It makes the setup and teardown go a lot smoother, also while shooting any help keeping score, pasting targets or calling scores also makes the day go quicker.

Members, we are trying something new. We are going to leave one of our pistol stages at Bay 5 intact for a month. It will give members a chance to shoot a stage. We do ask that you clean up your targets if you post over the cardboard. And it goes without saying, please shoot only targets, not the wood or the barrels. The idea is that you can engage targets from anywhere inside the fault lines tacked to the ground.

Reminder, CMP service r***e match at ICBGC, This Saturday 5-9-26 gate opens at 8:00am match starts at 9:00am.

Do you still know how to use your Irons?

JR shooters shoot free, all equitment and ammo as well as coaching is provided to all jr shooters.
