SHELL LAKE GIRLS OPEN VOLLEYBALL SEASON

SHELL LAKE– The Shell Lake Lakers competed at the Elmwood Invitational on Tuesday, Aug. 25, earning a pair of victories and taking one loss.
In the first contest the Lakers earned a 2-0 victory over the Independence/Gilmanton Indees.
The win kicked off Shell Lake’s new season with a 1-0 record.
Shell Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and took a 2-0 victory against the New Auburn Trojans to improve to 2-0 on the season with the back-to-back wins.
Shell Lake’s next contest was a 2-0 defeat against Elmwood/Plum City, giving them a 2-1 record for the tournament.
Thursday, Sept. 3, the Laker girls will play on the road at Turtle Lake at 7:15 p.m. They will be home on Tuesday, Sept. 8, to host Prairie Farm/Clayton at 7:15 p.m.
On Saturday, Sept. 12, the Lakers will welcome multiple teams to the Shell Lake Invitational Tournament, beginning at 9 a.m.

Wrapping up summer with the best kind of team day. 🏀💦 Girls Basketball team enjoyed a fun filled lake day together-making memories, soaking up sunshine, and celebrating a great summer.

A huge thank you to Donnie and Jessica Marker for hosting and giving our girls such a fun way to wrap up summer. 💙
