Lookie, lookie... there's two of our very own Shelbyville Girls Soccer Eaglettes. Coach Andy and staff have done a great job giving opportuntities to local and international students.

The Motlow State Community College girls’ soccer team has been putting up impressive seasons for a while now, and it feels like they have somewhat gone under the radar. They are coming off another amazing year where they brought home yet another championship trophy.

Soccer Skills Academy Session 3 is open for June 20 and it is not too late to get your daughter involved. Each session stands on its own — no need to have attended previous sessions to jump in. Coach Charlie Rose and staff are delivering focused small group technical training that makes a real difference.

Middle school at 8:00 AM, high school at 9:30 AM at SCHS.

No commitment, $15 per session paid on training day. Link in the original post to sign up

Today was a great one — working the less dominant foot, changing direction in tight spaces, dribbling through traffic, and getting proper technique on passing and ball striking with the laces. Fast paced, lots of touches, and every player left with something to work on.

Each session stands on its own. Whether you've been with us from the start or this Saturday is your first time on the field — you'll be challenged, you'll get better, and you'll fit right in. That's the whole point.

Session 3 is Saturday June 20 at SCHS grass field.
Middle School — 8:00 to 9:00 AM
High School — 9:30 to 10:30 AM

Soccer Skills Academy Session 2 is open for signups! Saturday June 13 at SCHS. Coach Charlie and staff are delivering fast paced technical training focused on ball mastery, confidence and game intelligence. Bedford County players got hundreds of touches on the ball in just one hour during Session 1. Your daughter could be next.

Session 1 is in the books, and it was a blast.
We kicked things off with ball mastery — working both feet, all parts of the foot, inside, outside and bottom, weaving through cones with one goal in mind. And when you made it through clean? You got to scream 'NO TOUCH!' at the top of your lungs. Trust me, it's more fun than it sounds.

In just one hour these girls got hundreds — if not thousands — of touches on the ball. Fast paced, focused, and every rep designed to build players who are comfortable and confident with both feet. That's the kind of training that actually moves the needle.

Three Bedford County schools represented on day one. A mix of players I've coached before and new faces — and every one of them left with better feet than they came in with. That's the whole point.
