Born one week apart, the ram lamb on the left 5.9kg/13lbs…the ewe lamb on the right 1.2kg/2.6lbs. They both presented their challenges. The ram lamb is off and running, doing just fine. The ewe lamb has had a much rockier start, she was weak and chilled when I found her, just after being born to a yearling first time ewe. I warmed her and tube fed her and she is now nursing the bottle with vigor. Here’s hoping she keeps progressing. 🤞

5.9kg/13lb ram lamb this morning!! He has to already kneel to nurse. Shoulder dystocia kept him from being completely delivered by the ewe, with a little help, he hit the ground and perked right up.

Yesterday the new pond was dry…this morning after 2-1/2” of rain yesterday (of which 2” fell in about an hour-hour and a half), we have a full pond!

Now to see if it holds water. 🤞🤞🐑
