As both Gracie Jiu‑Jitsu of Kentucky J‑Town and Gracie Jiu‑Jitsu of Kentucky Shelby County continue to grow, we’re taking time each month to recognize students who show what it truly means to be a teammate — people who make a difference on and off the mats.

This month, we’re proud to recognize Shawn Peck from our J‑Town location.

If you’ve trained with Shawn, you’ve probably seen him giving the white belts a good 'beating' (especially anyone named Tim). But behind the jokes, he’s one of those higher‑ranked students who will sit with you, talk about life, share wisdom, and remind you of the values and teachings that matter most.

June 19th I’ll be back inside the LFA cage fighting a tough opponent. This will be my 9th amateur fight and I will be looking improve my record to 9-0. Another victory God willing ☝🏻
