Today was my last day coaching these young men. Proud of the fact that we had 7 boys stay with our team for 7 years, 6 pictured (Bryson on vacation). I knew it was going to be tough to give a post game, and it was harder than I thought. Think I got about 10 words and I lost it, speech was over and the tears were flowing. These young men have been my ‘adoptive’ sons for the 7 years and to say ‘goodbye’ was emotionally draining. I can never explain the positive impact these guys have had on me and the lessons they taught me. We’ve won games, lost games, played in hail in Marion, snow in Perrysburg and 100 degrees in Shelby. We’ve laughed, cried, yelled, hugged, but stuck together. I can’t wait to see the success they have in the future on and off the baseball field. They’ll always be ‘my boys’
And to the Bomber families, wow, what can I say. They entrusted me and Aaron with their boys for 7 years. It’s not all been sunshine and puppy dogs, but as most families we’ve stuck together and made lifetime memories. The hotels/camping trips, drinks and ‘solving the worlds problems’. Long weekends at the ballfields and dealing with wins/losses/smiles/tears and injuries. I couldn’t have asked for such a supportive parents/grandparents/families. Thank you to all

11u brought home championship from Erie County Slam. Brody with his first homer of his career Friday night. Dom sent one into the trees Saturday and Q with a massive shot, over the pavilion in championship game. Pitching was lights out all weekend. Gave up 9 hits for the weekend. Conner with a 5 hitter 2 runs in championship game against Westlake, who had averaged 13 runs/game

14u(2020) tryouts will be July 20, 10:30 am at Shelby high school field (1 Whippet Way, Shelby Ohio) We play 6 tournaments throughout Ohio and around 10 weekday games.
