We would like to thank Spitzer Motors of Mansfield, Cooke Transport and Sportsman’s Den for their donation to purchase new football jerseys for our middle school football teams. We are so grateful that we live in a community that is very supportive of our student athletes and programs. Thanks again! Go Whippets!

This year the varsity football team will wear a helmet sticker in memory of Phil Pearson or most commonly known as “Mr.P”. Mr. P was a teacher in the Shelby district for 46 years and the football equipment manger for 44 years. His devotion to the Shelby community was evident in everything he did. We know that former students of his will continue to tell stories about him to the future generations of whippets. The Shelby football program is beyond thankful for his many years of dedication to our program.
