I was in the bathroom… trying to hold it together, trying to figure out what was happening to my body.

And then other moms started coming in.

They looked at me and asked,
“Is this your first baby?”

I could barely answer.

They told me, calmly but urgently…
“You need to stay calm and get to a hospital. Now.”

And that’s when everything inside me started to spiral.

Because if they were saying that…
this was real.

I was scared.
Confused.
Completely out of my element.

But the one thing I’ll never forget —
was my husband.

The focus.
The urgency.
The way he stepped in without hesitation.

While I was trying to process what was happening…
he already knew it was time to move.

Looking back, that steadiness carried us through that moment.

Because what came next…
we weren’t ready for.
