Vermont Golf Association The Vermont Golf Association Johnsbury, Mt. Anthony Country Club of Bennington, and the Rutland Country Club. The Barre Golf Club became a member in 1903.

The Vermont Golf Association was organized in 1902 with seven charter members: Dorset Field Club, Ekwanok Country Club, Montpelier Country Club, Waubanakee Country Club of Burlington, Old Pine Country Club of St. Today, the Vermont Golf Association is the authoritative body for golf in the state of Vermont representing more than 10,600 amateur golfers and 67 golf clubs in the state.

Men’s Player of the Year🏆

Lucas Politano capped a standout 2025 season with a string of impressive performances to earn Vermont Golf Association Men’s Player of the Year honors.

He opened the year with a victory at the Manchester Spring Classic and went on to claim Low Vermont Amateur honors at both the New England Amateur and the Vermont Open, proving he can compete at the highest level against elite regional fields and seasoned professionals alike.

Lucas added a T-4 finish at the Vermont Amateur Championship and a runner-up finish at the Vermont Spring Four-Ball Championship, showcasing his consistency across both individual and team competition.

Senior Player of the Year⛳️

Kim Perry put together a steady and impressive 2025 season to earn Vermont Golf Association Senior Player of the Year honors. He opened the year with a win in the Senior Division at the Manchester Spring Classic and represented Vermont as the Low Vermont Amateur at the New England Senior Amateur.

He advanced the furthest among seniors at the Vermont Mid-Amateur and added strong finishes at CCV Stroke Play (5th, Senior Division) and the Vermont Senior Four-Ball (6th). A season defined by consistency and composure.
