Yesterday, the Brookside bowling team took part in a fantastic community event, the first annual Big Cardinal Kickoff!! Some team volunteers along with Coach Mahnke and Coach Melissa helped run our "bowling lane", sell tickets for raffle baskets, pass out prizes, and got to chat with future Brookside bowlers about the program. Fun was had by all the people that stopped by our space, no matter their age, and we look forward to doing this again next year! Thank you to all of our volunteers and to everyone that supported us yesterday and to all of the other Brookside coaches, athletes, and parent volunteers that really showed up for our Cardinal community yesterday! Shoutout to the Cardinal Athletic Boosters committee for putting this all together and to the Sheffield Sheffield Lake City Schools Endowment Committee for donating chips and water for all those in attendance! This was a very successful event for all Brookside teams!
