Plan A was to be racing at Plymouth tonight but they cancelled on Thursday due to an unfavorable forecast for today.

Plan B 141 speedway for their show.
Looks to be a beautiful night for some racing… it will be cool sitting in the stands, so if you plan on coming bundle up! Hope to see you all there! Racing starts at 5!

Last night was the first time this year we were able to get the car on track for some practice before Saturdays opener at the Plymouth dirt track. The car felt pretty good but we have some things to work on. As teased in a previous post we are here to reveal our wrap for this year. The spoiler and rear filler panel have not made their way onto the car yet, but will be as soon as possible. Here are a few photos from last night.

We are excited to announce something we decided to do to add a little pay to the increased purse nights at Plymouth Dirt Track Racing. It’s going to called the “Red, White, and Blue 250 Series”presented by Rustic Pines Mini Storage and Lorier 66 Racing in conjunction with PDTR.

Why:
To celebrate The United States of America's 250th birthday and honor those who serve our country and fight for our rights. Fought for and Earned!!! Never Given!!!

When:
Red, White, and Blue races to correspond with the PDTR increased purse nights first, mid, and last night of season.

Who:
All 3 regular weekly classes consisting of Sport Mods, Grand Nationals, and Sprint cars. Must be running the series sticker that will be provided to all teams some time after the red race and before the white race.

What:
If a driver in any division wins the A main all 3 nights they will be awarded $250 cash from Rustic Pines Storage on the last night of the season.

If no one wins all three nights the driver from each division with the highest 3 night average finishing position in the A main will receive $66 from Lorier Racing on the last night. If there is a tie it will be awarded to the driver with most wins including heat races on those nights. Still tie.... Which driver secured a win first on those nights.
There is potential for additional sponsors/prizes to come aboard this series, and if that happens announcements will be made at the drivers meeting and on the Lorier Racing page.

Prize Payout: Payout will be cash at the Lorier Racing Trailer on the last night of the season after the final feature of the night.

If anyone has positive ideas or wants to add money or prizes contact me to discuss it. It would be nice to have some stuff to give to the drivers/teams as contingency prizes or maybe a hard luck and hard charger awards or lap sponsors. This whole thing is being done to try to give back and support local dirt track racing, so I hope that people get behind it and make it something bigger!

It’s been a long off season with some struggle and a fair amount of good. Bad news is I suffered a broken wrist back at the end of January and needed to be in a cast until 2 weeks ago. 10 for 10 don’t recommend… it sucks feeling like a toddler that can’t button his own pants or tie his own shoes. Thanks to Amanda, for help with that. As far as rebuilding a race car, it was a huge challenge to do with only one good hand. (Side note I did have a built in hammer called a cast)
I had to rely heavily on help from others to get it done. Thank you to everyone that stepped up to help… you know who you are and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the help. The car is done and ready to hit the track whenever the weather decides to cooperate. At that time I will post pictures of the special wrap for this year. Until then enjoy the photos of the unwrapped version and a teaser of this years colors. Hope to see you all at the track soon and wishing best of luck to everyone in the 2026! Let’s make this a safe, memorable season for everybody !

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you from Lorier Racing! We have all have a lot to be thankful for. How great is it we have an entire day to to think about it.
