Courtney Anne Holcomb is a Neenah Wisconsin-native that started dance at the age of three. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a BA in Dance and Spanish. Having studied various classical disciplines of dance, Courtney found her greatest personal connection to movement expression through Contemporary, Modern, and Improvisational approaches. She is a Certified Comprehensive
Pilates Teacher who took her initial training through Balanced Body, and tested out through the NCPT (formerly PMA). She has been teaching Pilates since 2010 and Dance/Choreography since 2006.
She is a professional dance artist, choreographer, dance teacher, Pilates instructor, video dance maker, and an advocate for movement in the education system. Courtney has a deep passion for storytelling through dance and movement, and believes in the power to transform the mind and body through these facets. She thrives on helping others discover the fullness of their movement potential because she believes that movement has the capacity to create change from the inside-out. Our bodies can express emotion and teach creativity in a way that nothing else can. Through her choreography, video dance work, performances, workshops, and dance instruction, she aims to impart a genuine connection of body and mind, instill personal kindness to ones body, and evoke genuine emotional expression through movement. After owning and operating a Pilates studio in her hometown for over 5 years, she sold her business and home, and decided to hit the road with her husband. They spent time traveling around the United States full time in an RV. Now, they have planted roots in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and Courtney Anne offers her Pilates, movement, and dance expertise throughout the United States. Through online ZOOM classes, in person classes throughout the greater Sheboygan and Fox Valley area, throughout Wisconsin, and will travel for work. www.courtneyanne.org
