Call for Umpires: 2026 Summer League Season. In light of the substantial growth in team registrations for our upcoming summer league season, we are calling upon umpires who embody reliability, a keen willingness to learn, and a foundational understanding of the sport, along with a positive demeanor and diligent work ethic.

Evening needs = Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

If you know someone who would be a great fit or are interested yourself, please initiate contact with our team at your earliest convenience. Great times to be had! :)

Friday league players & managers,

Thank you for joining us for the 2026 Friday night coed league at the Wildwood Complex in Sheboygan. My staff and I are looking forward to another great season. :)

PLEASE HELP: Our total enrollment for the 2026 summer league season has grown by 19 teams. This is very exciting! With the substantial increase in teams, it means that we are in need of full-time umpires. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Amberly or me as soon as possible. Without umpires, we do not have a program.

APPAREL: It is not too late to order custom team jerseys. We offer top-quality materials, fully customized designs, and we can get them in your hands in as quickly as 8 days. Please visit our website for more information. Fox Valley Athletics & Apparel - 'If you can dream it, we can create it.'

IMPORTANT RULES REMINDERS:
No beer or alcohol carry-ins allowed on the property. Anyone caught bringing in their own beer risks being removed from the program.
Men are only allowed to swing ASA or USA Approved bats.
Ladies can swing any softball bat of their choosing.
You are allowed to field & bat two more men than women (NOT 3 more). You can play 7/5 or 6/4 or 5/5 ect.
No Metal cleats allowed!!! If you choose to wear cleats, they must be plastic or rubber.
Men are only allowed to play on one men's team per evening.
Ladies are allowed to play for as many teams as needed.
Rainout Info can be found on our page 'Sheboygan Softball Program - Adult Slow Pitch'. If games are canceled due to weather conditions, we will post the info to that page the moment a decision is made.

We have a strict 'player conduct policy'. If you put yourself in a position to get ejected, you will be removed from all FVA leagues and tournaments for a minimum of three weeks (possibly longer). You ARE REQUIRED TO UMPIRE during your suspension.
Show up. Have fun. Be supportive. Please remember that without our umpires, without your teammates, and without your opponents, you would not have a sport to participate in.

New teams, welcome to our program. We will do all that we can to provide you with an enjoyable playing experience. Returning teams, please welcome the new teams with open arms and please be as supportive as possible. Without the men and women by your side, without the men and women across from you, and without the men and women who show up day in and day out to keep this program going, there wouldn't be games played. This is a team effort, and it takes everyone to make it happen. Thank you in advance.

*Your schedules are posted*
We are starting off the season with three divisions. You will play each team in your division one time. After those games are completed, we will seed everyone, move teams up/down as needed, and finish the back portion schedules. *Your records will carry with you.

Division #1 (south) = 6 teams. They will play each other one time for a total of five games.

Division #2 (east)= 7 teams. They will play each other one time for a total of six games.

Division #3 (west) = 6 teams. They will play each other one time for a total of five games.

We ask that all teams prioritize sportsmanship. Top teams, please remain respectful of less competitive opponents; lower-seeded teams, please use these games as an opportunity to learn from the program's top players. Mutual respect is essential for the long-term success of your league.

Your season begins on May 15th. There will be some double-headers, so please look things over very closely. If you are in the wrong division to start, we will make the necessary adjustments for the back portion. Please keep in mind that we will need time to enter your new schedules after the front portion games are completed. Please be patient.

*All league teams will be responsible for supplying their own softballs this season. You are required to use 12-inch, .52 core / 300 compression USA CERTIFIED softballs (choose any brand that you want). These can be purchased in stores or online. *We will be selling Evil Distance - 'Tournament Edition' softballs at the concession stand for those of you who prefer a top-quality softball. The ladies 11-inch softballs will be provided.

Tuesday league players & managers,

Thank you for joining us for the 2026 Tuesday night softball league at the Wildwood Complex in Sheboygan. My staff and I are looking forward to another great season. :)

*Your schedules are posted*
We have four D1 teams, eight D2 teams, and nine teams who signed up for D3.

The D1 teams will play each other multiple times AND two random D2 teams once for a total of 8 games to start.
The D2 teams will play each other one time PLUS one D1 team for a total of 8 games to start.
The D3 teams will play each other one time for a total of 8 games to start.

D1 teams = Similar to last year, we cannot provide you with double-headers every week. We will get through the first portion of the season, then do what we can within reason to try to get you extra games during the back portion schedules. Because we have 21 Tuesday night teams, we can no longer dedicate one field for the four D1 teams, while leaving only two fields for the other 17 teams. Please be patient and understanding; we are doing the best that we can. I cannot promise you a path that will allow us to give you two games any week if the Sheboygan softball program continues to grow.

D1/D2 teams = When playing interleague games, the schedule will only show up under one division, not two. Please look things over closely.

After each team has completed their 8 games we will seed everyone, move teams up/down divisions as needed, and form your back-portion schedules for the final games of the season. *Your records will carry with you.

We ask that all teams prioritize sportsmanship. Top teams, please remain respectful of less competitive opponents; lower-seeded teams, please use these games as an opportunity to learn from the program's top players. Mutual respect is essential for the long-term success of your league.

Your season begins on May 12th. Teams will have double-headers and bye weeks (due to having an odd number of teams) as we are running all three fields to capacity.

Monday League Players & Managers,

Thank you for joining us for the 2026 Monday night league at the Wildwood Complex in Sheboygan. My staff and I are looking forward to another great season.

Your front portion schedules are posted.

Each of the nine teams will play each other once for a total of eight games. Following these initial games, we will attempt to seed all teams into two divisions (if possible) for the remainder of the season. While we recognize that matchups between the most and least competitive teams are not always ideal, this format allows us to evaluate the new teams and ensure more balanced competition for the second portion of the year.

We ask that all teams prioritize sportsmanship. Top teams, please remain respectful of less competitive opponents; lower-seeded teams, please use these games as an opportunity to learn from the program's top players. Mutual respect is essential for the long-term success of the league.

Your season begins on May 11th. Teams will play double-headers during the first two weeks to maximize games played before the Monday night church league begins. Due to the odd number of teams, some bye weeks may be included as well. Also note, we will be running one additional 9pm game on field #2 each week in order to get through the first round of games as quickly as possible.

I am happy to announce that your league team enrollment has increased by 19 teams this season (all evenings included). Because of this substantial increase in teams we are in need of full-time umpires. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Amberly or me as soon as possible.

We look forward to seeing everyone back on the fields for our third season in Sheboygan.

Best regards,

Eric Schaefer
