Doc's Custom Tackle flahsers far outperformed all others this year! Thank you Doc's Custom Tackle for making such a quality product!

A quick update from Doc’s Custom Tackle:

In the past, we completed custom painting and production work for other companies. Some of that work was produced according to their requested specifications and budgets and may not reflect the materials, finishes, and quality standards we use today.

Moving forward, we will only create tackle that carries the Doc’s Custom Tackle name. This allows us to maintain full control over every step of production and make sure everything we release meets our current standards for quality, durability, and performance.

If it has our name on it, you can trust that we stand behind it.

Tight lines and heavy coolers—what a season!

To every single guest who stepped aboard with us this year: THANK YOU.

Whether you were reeling in a trophy catch, learning the ropes on your very first trip, or just enjoying the sunrise with good company, you made this season unforgettable. Watching you land those fish (and hearing the epic tall tales that followed) is why we love doing what we do.

We want to see your favorite moments! Drop your best fish photos and videos from your trip in the comments below, or tag us in your posts. We will pick one lucky winner for a 1/2 price 5 hour trip for the 2027 season!

We’re already prepping the gear and planning for the next season. Spots fill up fast, so if you're ready to get back out on the water, give us a shout to lock in your dates!

Until then: fair winds, calm seas, and happy fishing!

To our incredible charter guests, thank you for making this season so unforgettable! Your support, energy, and love for being out on the water mean the world to us.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen mechanical issues, we had to made the tough decision to wrap up our charter season early. While we hate cutting things short, safety and quality always come first. The "SOPHIA MARIE" is back to running tip top! A special thank you to Kubec Marine for getting our vessel back on the water!

We’re pivoting to focus on family time for the remainder of the year and getting everything back in tip-top shape. We’re already counting down the days until the 2027 season and can’t wait to welcome you back aboard for even bigger adventures!

Thank you to Bergstrom Automotive for a great trip last night!

With the recent events on our vessel, we had to pull a last minute audible. A special thanks to Captain Dan's Charters, and Hot Pursuit for getting my team on a pile of fish!

I unfortunately have some very upsetting news.
There is something that is wrong with my starboard engine with just over 400 hours. I cannot get a technician down for bit. So this is a season ending event. I want to personally thank everyone that fished with us this year. We have truly been blessed with the best guests. If you do have a trip booked between now and September, I am truly sorry. Hope to see you out on the water next season!
