Not the results I was hoping for but I guess damage could have been much worse.

Heat: Started outside front row. Lead a lap or 2 and then got passed and ran second for a while. Had a bad restart and ended up 4th.

Feature: Started towards the front. Tried to go underneath a car and ended up getting into him and spun. Next thing I knew there were 19 cars in the parking lot. Ended up coming home 14th

Plan is to run the Late model show Friday night at 141 and then back at Plymouth Saturday.

Saturday night recap:

Very fun, and fast track all night. Just need more seat time with the car and gotta figure the motor gremlin we have been battling.

Heat race: Track was really fast, under higher rpm in the corners the car kept falling on its face and had no power. Ended up pulling off.

Found more wrong in the distributor, so we monkey'd with that and got it ready for the feature.

Feature: Car ran and handled great. Just lacking consistency to make some passes. We are getting closer every week.

We are off this coming weekend with the WoO show coming to Plymouth. Got tractor pulling Friday night at Racers Hall.

Im getting kicked from the seat tonight to let Gary Glander have a go at the new car. It'll be cool to watch the car from a different point of view!

As long as all goes to plan, then I will be back in the seat for racing Saturday night at 141.

Saturday Night Recap:

Overall a pretty decent night

Heat: The heat race wasn't super great. The car was a fuzz tight, but I think most of the problem was driver error. Still trying to learn the car.

Feature: A pretty solid race overall. The first half of the race we struggled pretty hard with visibility. Once the sun went down, it was actually a really fun race. Car was very drivable and competitive.

I do give Plymouth Dirt Track Racing a lot of credit for trying to fix the track. With the wind and sun we had the past couple days, everything is drying out so fast, its really hard to keep moisture in the track.

We will try again in 3 weeks as we are off at Plymouth for a couple weeks. We may try running elsewhere the next 2 weeks while we have some time off, but we will have to see how the schedule plays out.

Its Raceday at Plymouth Dirt Track Racing!

After some much needed practice at 141 Thursday we have the car 100% ready to roll and hopefully working much better then opening night.

Due to the cold and wet weather conditions, this week’s races - Saturday, May 2 - are canceled.

The season opener for the Super Six Late Model Series is now set for next Saturday, May 9 with the PDTR 360 Sprint Cars, Grand Nationals and B Mods also on tap.

May 9th is also You’re Our Heroes Night with free admission for U.S. military, police, fire, and EMS personnel with valid ID, as well as an American flag giveaway for kids.

Early start times will again be in place with spectator gates open at 4 p.m., qualifying at 4:30 p.m. and racing to follow.
