This past week, the SFHS Girls Soccer program celebrated the accomplishments of another great season at the team banquet. This included JV/Varsity recognition, All-Conference Awards, and Team Awards. It was fun celebrating each other’s successes and sharing laughs. The SFHS Girls Soccer program is blessed to have young female athletes who have great attitudes and contribute both on and off the field. Go Falcons!

Sadly, the Sheboygan Falls HS Girls soccer team's season came to end at regional finals versus a solid New Berlin West team. It was not without effort but it was not to be…we also said goodbye to our sole Varsity senior…Madisyn Ortlieb…she has always touched the team with kindness and passion…you will be missed! Great season Lady Falcons…you represented the community and the school splendidly!

WIAA Girls State Soccer tournament starts tonight…support your Falcons as they welcome Brown Deer to Sheboygan Falls for a first round match….fan support is always a much appreciated bonus…..Go Falcons!

Tonight, after a tough loss on Tuesday, the SFHS Falcons recovered with a win to end the regular season. More importantly, it was Senior Night, and a fond farewell was had by all in attendance. The Seniors represented well as they played their last game and Madisyn was rewarded with a great memory – she bent a corner kick into the goal! Afterwards, cake, drinks and gifts were presented, and heartfelt words were said by teammates and our Seniors. Thank you, Madisyn, Brooke and Lily!

Thank you Bryant’s – both the JV (after a game) and Varsity had a team dinner yesterday to celebrate the season…Coach Klohie and Coach Cade competed in a hot dog eating contest…rumor has it that Coach Cade brought home the win…

Senior Night – a day to celebrate the present and reflect on the past – the Falcons are blessed to have 3 GREAT Seniors who understood participating creates great memories – whether a “newbie” or a “veteran” – THANK YOU Madisyn, Brooke and Lily! You shared your time, quirkiness and positive spirit with the team – that created great memories for all! You will be missed...but you have a bright future!

On Tuesday, May 26th at 4:30 PM in Sheboygan Falls, both Varsity and JV will play their final conference game of the season.

This night is especially meaningful — it is our Cancer Awareness Night, dedicated to all who have experienced cancer or are currently battling it. Our team, and the entire SFHS soccer community, recognize how important it is to stand with those whose lives have been touched by this disease.

Our players will be wearing pink to show that we are with you, we support you, and you are in our hearts.

We invite you to join us, wear pink, and help fill the sidelines with strength, compassion, and unity as we close out conference play.

Come out, wear pink, and be part of a night that matters.

College Signing Day at Sheboygan Falls HS - Madisyn Ortlieb, was accompanied by family and teammates, as she committed to Ripon College. Congrats Madisyn – you have worked hard over the years to reach your goal! On top of playing on the “pitch” with her team, Madisyn has always gone the extra mile to ensure all teammates feel welcome and appreciated both on and off the field – it is a great quality, and her new team are lucky to have her!

Annual Soccer Olympics…this year prepped with “face paint” - Seniors/Sophomores vs Juniors vs Freshmen…as usual, Pride was on the line as teams competed in header contest, two-person obstacle, egg “survival” course, bubble display, sharpshooter, and balloon dash. Lots of laughs (Juniors were intense as usual and a tad to celebratory) and champions were crowned. Go Falcons

Monday, Varsity hosted Youth Night and played North Fond du Lac while JV paid a visit to Cedar Grove–Belgium. Both teams were victorious, best parts though – first high school goal, first time player stepping up to be the goalie (she already rocks the ice rink), first time game announcers, first time “National Anthem” singers, and players being role models for young athletes! Nice job Lady Falcons!
