I received a call today from a customer that’s playing ball in shawnee and they needed some quick repair work but unfortunately I’m out of town today so I called my granddaughter to give me a hand I’m showing her how to repair gloves for her travel team and Highschool team so she stepped in to save the day for a customer.

This baller right here from Winter Garden Florida had big sisters glove passed down to her for a little while after big sisters had finished ball, but it turned into a permanent thing.. so the decision was made, let’s make it her glove now and not big sis so I had to think outside of the box to figure out how to change the name and the number. Once I got that figured out I was able to give it a dye job to match her team colors and to install an internal wrist strap with a little color to match the grove for that tight fit. Well from the smile on this ballers face lets me know I got another one right. Thanks for sharing the journey with me. It’s what keeps me close to the game.

Total restoration on this 44 it needed a die job for a new identity for the younger sister to take over the glove. It was passed down and she absolutely loves it. so I had to do a number change and name change added the new internal wrist strap and padding and it’s time for this one to make its own new history. This one will be headed back to Wintergreen Florida.

Here is another reason why I do what I do, this young baller right here starting her career with moms glove, that second generation glove because mom played at UCO for 4 years as a left fielder with this glove. Now it gets a new life, this 11 year old in the 5th grade who plays at Marlo now will make her own memories with this Mizuno, playing short stop for her travel team Elevate. So I gave this one a complete restoration inside and out. Thanks so much for sharing the journey, it’s what keeps me close to the game.
