Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon The Shawnee Mission Tri is proud to host the oldest triathlon in the Kansas City area! https://jcprd.com/252/Social-Media-Policy

The event consists of an Olympic, Long Course, Short Course and Super Sprint Tri as well as a Duathlon. There are seven days in a week and “someday” isn’t one of them. Make the commitment to become a triathlete or duathlete today! The Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon occurs in Shawnee Mission Park and takes athletes throughout the most visited park in the state that serves as a 1,250-acre urba

n refuge. Additionally, the course joins the Mill Creek Streamway Trail offering asphalt pathways snaking along the stream and through hillside forests. With distances ranging from Olympic to Super Sprint, there is something for every athlete ranging in experience from first-timer to the seasoned veteran. The Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon is an USAT sanctioned event. This program is organized and managed by Johnson County Park & Recreation District (JCPRD).
