🤠 Thank You, MRCA Family! 🤠

What a wonderful weekend of rodeo in Pauls Valley!

A huge thank you to all of our board members, volunteers, contestants, parents, sponsors, and supporters who helped make this weekend a success. It takes a tremendous amount of teamwork behind the scenes, and we are grateful for everyone who gave their time, energy, and support.

Thank you to the kids for your hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication, and thank you to the parents who spend countless hours helping make these opportunities possible.

We are blessed to be part of such a great rodeo family and look forward to continuing the season together.

Safe travels home, and we’ll see everyone in two weeks in Duncan! 🐎

📣 MRCA Jacket Fitting Reminder 📣

If you need to get fitted for your jacket, M&M Apparel will only be here until NOON today.

Please do not wait until the last minute. If you are receiving a jacket this season, make plans to stop by and get fitted before they leave.

🤠 MRCA Members 🤠

It’s hard to believe, but we’re quickly approaching the halfway point of our season. Before we know it, we’ll be talking about Finals, year-end awards, and preparations for next season.

As we look ahead, we’d like to encourage everyone to start thinking about the future leadership of MRCA. Our organization continues to grow because of the dedicated volunteers and board members who are willing to give their time and talents to support our contestants and families.

If you have ever considered serving on the board, or know someone who would be a great fit, now is a great time to start that conversation. One of the best ways to prepare for a board position is to spend time shadowing current board members and learning the day-to-day responsibilities before stepping into the role. This helps make the transition smoother and gives future board members a better understanding of how everything works behind the scenes.

Serving on the board is a rewarding opportunity to help shape the future of MRCA and make a positive impact on the next generation of rodeo families.

We are grateful for every volunteer, board member, contestant, parent, and supporter who helps make MRCA what it is. Thank you for being part of this amazing organization.

🌧️ MRCA Rodeo Update 🌧️

We have received several questions this morning, so we wanted to provide an update.

As of right now, the rodeo is still on as scheduled. We are not planning to cancel simply because of rain.

The only circumstances that would cause a delay or cancellation would be:
• The arena becoming too muddy or unsafe for competition
• A lightning delay due to weather conditions

We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates if anything changes.

📍 Also, please note that the Secretary’s Office is located in the back of the concession stand this weekend.

📸 MRCA Finals Headshot Reminder 📸

This weekend will be the LAST opportunity to get your finals headshots completed with Pamela Ann Photography.

Pamela will be available beginning at 8:00 AM each day, before the rodeo, in between runs, and after the rodeo. We do not know how long she plans to stay after the rodeo each day, so please do not wait until the last minute.

If you plan to participate in MRCA Finals and still need your headshots, please make it a priority to get them done this weekend.

M&M Apparel will be at the rodeo this weekend doing jacket fittings for our members!

If you are receiving a jacket this season, please make plans to stop by and get fitted so we can ensure everyone gets the correct size.

We appreciate M&M Apparel taking the time to come out and help us get everything ready for awards season. Be sure to watch for them at the rodeo and get your fitting completed while they’re there!
