Kansas City Strength & Conditioning

Kansas City Strength & Conditioning Athletic Development and Strength Training. Ages 12+. We also specialize in baseball and softball.

KCSC educates competitive athletes and adults on the correct ways to attain their specific fitness goals. Our philosophy revolves around responsible ways to improve athletic performance and personal wellness through exercise, nutrition, and proper recovery methods. We emphasize to all of our clients that being “fit” is in fact a life long responsibility. Our job is to guide you in the right direct

ion and make sure you are using the best tools for the job. Movement, strength, speed, power, agility, and conditioning are all attributes we train, whether you are 16 or 65 years old. Everyone’s program is individualized based on his or her goal(s), needs, and current fitness level, but all clients learn the foundations of strength training. We push, pull, press, hinge, squat, lunge, throw, jump, and sprint. Athletes and parents: Simply put, as modern life gets more sedentary, the culture of amateur athletics is becoming more competitive. Strength and conditioning are extremely important for maintaining durability and performance. No matter what sport you are playing – whether you need to throw, kick, swing, row, skate, or flat-out run – you can never be strong enough. Adults: KCSC understands the numerous time constraints, family responsibilities, and emotional obstacles that get in the way of exercise. Exercising always has a deeper meaning to a person than meets the eye. Whether you just had a baby, simply dream of a better physique, or know you need an expert coach to guide you to improved wellness and health, KCSC realizes that your goal is not just to exercise, but to improve other parts of your life.

Lets Go T Cruse

Basehor Linwood alum, making waves at the next level.

Taylor Cruse, a Ohio State University junior and Basehor-Linwood alum, is putting together a huge college career and an even bigger junior season. Cruse is currently tied for 4th-most home runs in a single season in Ohio State history with 20 homers this year alone. She’s also hitting .374 with 45 RBIs, continuing to establish herself as one of the top bats in the program.

Before college, Cruse was a standout three-sport athlete at Basehor-Linwood and helped lead the program to the 5A State Championship game three straight years. Her class went an incredible 67-8 over their final three seasons. 💪 She was also named the S*K 5A Pitcher of the Year in 2023, showing the same all-around talent that now has her thriving at the next level.

While most of clients were busy with spring tryouts last week, two members participated in significant weight lifting events and we are proud of and impressed by both of them.
shelley16 took home first place in her weight class at the KS 4A Powerlifting meet. Now it’s on to softball.

Coach Bree has been working behind the scenes for a long time to get to her first USA Weightlifting National event. If you don’t know anything about weekend, it’s the biggest fitness event in the country every year. Most people go as spectators, but Bree was a participant and set a new personal record and placed 5th in her division.
