Taproot Barns

Apparently, the secret to growing your page is… getting a fluffy cow. 😂🐮

Back in March, I set a goal for Taproot Barns to reach 1,000 followers by December. It felt like a BIG stretch… then a Highland cow joined the family, hundreds of you came along, and now we’re only about 40 followers away! 🤯❤️

I guess I should let the cow handle marketing from now on. 🤣

Help us cross that finish line! Share our page and tell your friends something you love about Taproot—a favorite memory, a lesson learned, or an animal who stole your heart.

Every share, kind word, and bit of support helps our little farm grow. We’re so grateful to have you as part of the Taproot family! 🐴

🎁 A little less “stuff” and a whole lot more memories! 🐴📸

Taproot Barns is now offering personalized gift cards for riding lessons, photoshoots, camps, and more!

Have a horse-loving kiddo, someone who’s always wanted to ride, or a family overdue for beautiful photos together? Give them something to look forward to—an experience here on the farm! ❤️

Perfect for birthdays, Christmas, special milestones, or a “just because” surprise. We can personalize your gift card for that special someone and help you choose the perfect farm experience.

Because the best gifts don’t always fit under the tree… and we definitely don’t recommend trying to wrap a horse.

Message Taproot Barns to order your personalized gift card!

🎄CAMP KRINGLE INTEREST CHECK!🎄

We’re thinking about offering two Camp Kringle dates this year:

Black Friday — November 27
The day before Christmas Eve — December 23

Each camp would be four hours long and cost $125 for one camp or $200 to attend both camps.

Camp Kringle is all about celebrating Christmas on the farm! We’ll play games, make Christmas crafts, spend time with the animals, and enjoy plenty of festive farm fun—both indoors and outdoors.

Before we finalize our plans, we’d love to know how much interest there would be in adding a second date. Our hope is to give parents a little extra time to shop, wrap gifts, work, or prepare for Christmas while the kids enjoy a fun and memorable day at Taproot Barns.

Would your child attend one date—or maybe both? Comment below and let us know which date would work best for your family!

Our Taproot Barns family has something to brag about!

Miss Violet has been part of Taproot Barns for many years, and we are SOOO proud of all she has accomplished! Watching her grow in confidence, follow her passions, and share her love for animals and farm life has been such a joy.

Now she’s chasing an exciting new dream—running for Miss Agriculture! 👑🌾 She’s helping others learn about agriculture and showing that even a young voice can make a big impact.

Taproot friends, let’s show up for our girl! Head over to Violet’s page, (Link below) give her a like and follow, and leave her a little encouragement as she takes on this adventure. 🩷

Violet, you’ve got a whole barn full of people cheering you on—and probably a few horses who would vote for you if you brought snacks! 🤣🐴 We are so proud of you, sweet girl!

Our pig who is fully convinced he’s a dog! 😂 We love him so much and there’s definitely a reason he keeps showing up at our door. He may or may not get to come inside and pick his own snacks from the refrigerator while Dad is at work. 🤫🐷
