Town and Country Pool

It is with a great deal of sadness and the taste of failure that I must announce the closing of the pool. It has now started losing water in addition to its insistence on being green. There is simply not any money to continue. I have been having to pay for some things on my own already. In the 10 years I’ve been taking care of the pool there has never been a summer like this. Trust me when I say no one is more disappointed than Kristy Kellogg and me about this conclusion. Thank you for your support and patience.

We are letting pool refill to finish vacuuming this afternoon. Pool will open at 8:00 AM tomorrow!!

All of the algae is dead! It’s floating on top and dropped on the bottom with crystal clear water in between. It’s very slow going on vacuuming since it’s so thick, but we’re getting it!

We put something in the pool “guaranteed” to clear it in 24 hours. It’ll be closed today and I’ll vacuum tomorrow at 8:00 and then it will be open because this is going to work.

Things are progressing with the latest attempt of fixing the algae problem. The pool will be closed in the morning for manual vacuuming. I’ll post here when we can open.

The pool is closing at 4:30. I’m sorry about the short notice but Crystal Clear has sold me something that is supposedly going to work to clear the pool. People can’t be in it for 2 hours so it will be fine for tomorrow hopefully.

The water got low and it got too dark to finish. I’ve got 30 minutes or so to finish so pool will open at 9:00 tomorrow.
