Dixie Hollow Speedway dirt gokart track. 2022 General Rules
1. If brake disc is located under seat it must have a metal shield/guard covering it.
4. Open header any type of header.

All racers must wear: a full face Snell approved helmet with faceshield, neck collar/support, jacket without hood (preferably nomex or leather), gloves, pants without holes, and closed toed shoes.
2. Lead must be mounted with a bolt through the lead, double nutted or nutted and cotter keyed, painted white with the kart number on it.
3. You must weigh the specified weight on scales immediately afte

r each race.
5. If you receive 3 black flags you are finished racing for that day.
6. Only track officials are permitted beyond the gates onto the track area. Persons in the pit area must have signed the liability release form and code of conduct form.
7. Absolutely no fighting, profanity, or arguing with officials at the Speedway. Any violation of this rule may result in the immediate expulsion from the premise with no refund.
8. Any rule may be added, changed, or modified at any time by the race director/owner only, in order to provide a safe, competitive race environment. Only the race director/owner has final say of interpretation and application of any rule.
9. All kart classes can or will be teched. The number of karts in each class to be teched will be at the sole discretion of the director/owner. If a kart is deemed illegal, the racer will forfeit all points and winnings for that race. the 350 or 400 class by driver weight. Racers weighing 160lbs and less will race the 350 class. Racers weighing 161lbs and more will be eligible for the 400lb class but may also race the 350 class.
1. Stock classes, Only Predator (Hemi and non-Hemi) 212 cc 2 valve OHV motors permitted. !!!!(NO OTHER CHARGES OR MODIFICATION OTHER THAN WHAT IS MENTIONED)!!! Stock flywheel must be replaced with a non-stock non cast flywheel (for example billet steel or aluminum). You may, (but not required to), remove: gas tank, governor, throttle arm, and low oil sensor. You may relocate gas tank to floor pan and replace with top plate and pulse type fuel pump with one line connected to valve cover. Stock air cleaner. 31 max main carb jet rule. Valve springs may not test over 10.8 lbs at .850” and 18.0 lbs at .650”
You must add a chain/clutch guard.
2. Max main carb jet rule of 31. A no go 32 tech tool will be used.
3. Drum shoe clutch only.
4. No racing fuel allowed. No Nitro! Or alcohol! Up to 93 pump gas.
5. Open slick tire rule no knobbies.
6.Minimum age requirement is 13 years old.
2022 Kids Classes:
Real easy same as adult classes but with restrictor plates and weight! New Junior class 6 to 8 yr olds must have governor or run red plate, parents choice, weight optional. Let's keep it safe for the little ones!!! Junior 1 purple plate 8-10yr olds 270lbs
Junior 2 purple plate 11-15yr olds 270lbs
You will run the class you started the year on, you may move up in class but once you move up you may not move back down or run 2 classes. This applies to all kids classes. At owner's discretion. Depending on driver count we may put both classes together. Weight my change. Also age can be worked with depends on experience and how safe the parents feels what class there in. Stock Appearing 350lbs
1. A combination of PAC (Predator) (Clone) stock bore.
2. Disc clutches permitted.
3. Hand held starters permitted.
4. Gasoline and Alcohol permitted.
5. Open slick tire rule.
6. MOTOR MUST LOOK STOCK from visual inspection for example but not limited to: no billet parts, no mikuni or tillotson carbs. Carb Pulse pump allowed. Billet side cover allowed Race director will have final say on any discrepancies.
7. Minimum age requirement 15yrs.

Sorry everyone for such a late post but we're not opening for this year. We had a lot Of personal things going on this year on tope of that the track equipment needing a lot of work. We look forward to next year and getting the track back up and running this coming spring. I'll be working with the other local track and getting a schedule for next year. Hopefully you all had a awesome season. I wanna thank you all who has supported us.

Sorry everyone I haven't posted In a while, I've had a lot going on. I'll have a date on our first race of the year soon. Shouldn't take much get the track going this year unlike other years. Still will be on Saturdays maybe some nights mid summer!

(Predator Ghost class): required to have stage 1 kit from harbor fright for the ghost engine, no other modification to engine other than you can take the muffler off, open clutch/ disc clutches or drum, and chain guard, open tire rule. other than that must be the way you bought it from harbor fright. No changing the coil one of the main things we will check.
The open tire rule is for all classes.

Tentative rules (specific) ohio valley predator championship class.

1. Only Predator (Hemi and non-Hemi) 212 cc 2 valve OHV motors permitted. Stock flywheel must be replaced with a non-stock non cast flywheel (for example billet steel or aluminum). You may, (but not required to), remove: gas tank, governor, throttle arm, and low oil sensor. You may relocate gas tank to floor pan and replace with top plate and pulse type fuel pump with one line connected to valve cover. 31 max main carb jet rule. You may use any 212cc Predator unaltered stock exhaust or unaltered RLV-91 muffler (wienie pipe) with header not to exceed .750” OD tubing and total length of exhaust must be between 10” and 15”. Valve springs may not test over 10.8 lbs at .850” and 18.0 lbs at .650”. No other changes, modifications, or alterations are permitted to motor besides what is listed.
2. Drum clutch only
3. Only 87 octane
4. Any Burris tires (slicks or treads)
5. Mandatory clutch guard
6. Adult class 13+ yrs old
7. 350lbs minimum weight
8. Any rule may be modified at any time by the race director.

Kids class add:
purple plate
Age 8-12
Weight 260lbs
(Same motor rules)

I will have the 2024 rules up for the other classes soon! It will more than likely be the same as last year except I'm introducing treaded tires, it will still be open( slick or treaded) brand's and compounds. No yard kart tires or offroad tires. Looking forward to 2024 race season! 🏁 🇺🇸

All 6 tracks are on Facebook under these respective names. Go to their page and like to begin following. Remember this is a new endeavor for 2024. Please be respectful and positive, these tracks have worked hard to bring you a championship experience for local kart racing in the Ohio valley. There will be growing pains and a lot of questions, but be mindful that 6 tracks are opening their doors to racers with one set of kart rules for an adult and kids class. More information to follow.

Heads up not gonna run tomorrow londyn broke her ankle at the game. still a 80% chance of rain still for tomorrow. Looks like we will more than likely have the end of season race the beginning of the next season.

Looks like rain this Saturday more than likely not gonna run. I'm not sure if we will have our last race or not with work and family things going on. We do have trophys for 350 400 and the kids class 1st 2nd 3rd if it looks like we will have a decent weekend before Thanksgiving we will have it if not we will have a trophy race the 1st race of 2024! Next year we will have a better start and have some night racing. I appreciate everyone who races here at the track and we thank you for the support and the exciting racing and most of all sportsmanship.

We have to cancel this weekends race due to the amount of rain we got did a number on the track and our tractor broke down. I'll get a date soon for the next one.
