We are SO excited for the Fall Season! California Soccer Park is about to be full again, and we can’t wait. A few updates as we get everything ready:
Most coaches have been cleared and have received their rosters! We know families are anxious to find out what team they’re on, especially when you see another team already practicing and start wondering, “Ummm…did they forget about us?” We promise, we didn’t!
Player safety is our top priority. We cannot release a roster to a coach until all required safety protocols have been completed and cleared. Some coaches stepped up later than others, so they’re still finishing that process.
And remember, our coaches are volunteers with jobs, families, kids, and approximately 900 other things going on. Once they receive their roster, it may take them a few days to contact everyone.
Next up: GAME SCHEDULES.
Once teams are finalized, we can finish putting schedules together. There are a LOT of moving pieces: fields, divisions, teams, and especially our rock-star coaches who volunteer for multiple teams. We have to make sure Coach Dad isn't scheduled on Dignity A and REU B at the same time. Unless someone has figured out teleportation, in which case please contact us immediately.
Once schedules are released, please check them each week. The first version can change as we work out conflicts and adjustments.
Finally, our uniform update. Milton at MAC Soccer crushed it once again! We'll be sorting everything and getting uniforms out to coaches soon.
