Thank you to Tipton for having us again today! Both teams played very well, and it was good getting the ladies back on the field together one last time this summer. We went up 2-0 early and held on to a 5-4 hard-fought win. Thank you, ladies, for showing up!
The Tri-Central Trojans Softball future looks bright!

As the 2026 season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank the coaches who invested so much into our program.

The wins, losses, practices, bus rides, and long nights are easy to see. What often goes unnoticed are the countless conversations, lessons, encouragement, and belief poured into our players every day.

When asked what they would remember most, our players spoke about confidence.

๐Ÿ’™ "Coach Dyer has helped me grow as a player and as a person. He always encourages me and shows full confidence in my abilities." โ€” Claire Conrad

๐Ÿ’™ "Coach Dyer taught me to approach everything with confidence." โ€” DeLila Fowler

๐Ÿ’™ "Coach Dyer taught me to be confident in my ability and take control of my controllables." โ€” Tenley Flaty

๐Ÿ’™ "Coach Dyer has taught me to do everything with confidence, whether that be pitching, fielding, or hitting." โ€” Bella Stewart

๐Ÿ’™ "Coach Dyer has taught me to be confident in who I am as a person and as a player." โ€” Tinsley Ormes

They spoke about growth.

๐Ÿ’™ "Coach Patrick taught me to push myself and be tough." โ€” Tinsley Ormes

๐Ÿ’™ "Coach Patrick taught me how to swing." โ€” Angela Dempsey

And they spoke about the relationships that make this program special.

๐Ÿ’™ "Coach Jamie took time out of her work day to give the seniors a private tour of the State House. It made the trip so much more fun." โ€” Ellie Taylor

๐Ÿ’™ "Jamie brightens any room she walks into. She fills our dugout with love and joy." โ€” Claire Conrad

To Coach Dyer, Coach Bolser, Coach Keith, and Coach Ramey:

Thank you for your time, your patience, your leadership, and your commitment to these young women.

The lessons you taught this season will last far longer than any game ever could.

Dear Parents and Fans,

Entering this season, we knew we had a lot of work ahead of us. As a young and inexperienced teamโ€”composed of four new seniors joining our three returning seniors, five sophomores, and two freshmenโ€”the players arrived hungry, willing to learn, and ready to build upon the previous season.

Due to limited outdoor practice time in March, we spent significant time in the hitting cages. This focus paid off, as the team batting average rose to .318 this year, continuing a steady upward trend from .303 in 2025 and .191 in 2024. This success was led by the top of our lineup: Claire (.514), Tinsley (.412), Bella (.333), and Emily (.324), alongside strong contributions in limited at-bats from Logan (.440) and Katie (.325).

In the circle, Tinsley and Bella showed tremendous growth. After putting in extra work with a pitching coach during the off-season, they both produced excellent results. Bella took the heavy load early with 73 innings, while Tinsley grew stronger as the year progressed, pitching 56 innings and recording 48 strikeouts.

While we had our defensive ups and downs early on due to our inexperience, the team played with much more confidence as the season moved forward. I want to highlight Delila Fowler (3rd base), Olivia Dempsey (Center Field), and Angela Dempsey (2nd base), who all excelled while learning new positions.

We consistently coached the team to be "better than yesterday," and our sectional game proved that they took that to heart. Despite coming up short, it was one of our best all-around performances offensively, defensively, and in the circle.

I want to thank our seven seniors for their hard work and dedication; they truly left this program better than they found it. Looking ahead, we return most of our offensive production and both of our pitchers. With a talented incoming freshman class, I am excited to begin off-season workouts and continue growing this program.

Finally, thank you to all the parents and fans for your unwavering support throughout the season.

Coach Dyer
