I’m a more hands-on, nomadic-style guide. My preference is to stay in camp with my clients throughout the hunt, creating a true hunting camp experience. We typically share meal preparation for the week and focus on hunting from dark to dark until your moose is on the ground.

I can recommend several lodging options both inside and just outside the North Maine Woods, and I have references available upon request.

I’ve been involved in more moose hunts than I can count—likely approaching 40 successful hunts. Once you arrive at camp, we use my truck for the duration of the hunt, and all fuel costs are included.

I come fully equipped with extraction gear and will handle the hard work after the shot. Depending on the situation, I’ll either field dress and winch the moose out or skin and quarter it, then pack it out using a pack frame if necessary. I’ll also ensure your moose is transported to the butcher.

After your harvest is brought to the butcher and your hunt is complete, we’ll part ways and you’ll head home with memories to last a lifetime. You are responsible for picking your meat up at the butcher.

Turkey season ends tomorrow here in Maine, but the little babies hatching right now will replenish the flock in a year or two when they grow up. There were about 8-9 poults but by the time I got my phone out to record, only one hung around long enough for a video. If you look between baby and momma you can see the grass moving where the rest are well hidden scurrying back to the hens purrs and clucks.

🍂 New Hampshire White Mountains Fall Bear Hunt – Limited Spots Available! 🐻

We have 3 spots open for our premier fall bear hunt over bait (only 6 total hunters – 3 already booked)! 2 tentative but until I get a deposit your not considered booked.

Terrain is rugged we are looking for hunters that can walk uphill on uneven terrain roughly 2-300 yards. Our commercial sites are the easiest to get to physically. We will place hunters accordingly. All sites get tons of daylight activity!

🔸 Exclusive Setup
Each hunter gets their own bait site, very little hunting pressure in this area. Guides can only have 6 sites, and regular bear hunters are only allowed to have 2 sites each statewide. I wish Maine would limit site numbers for guides as well as for regular bear hunters. Sites are baited every 3 days prior to your hunt.

• Arrive: Sunday, Sept 20 at 12PM
• First sit: Sunday at 3PM
• Hunt: Sunday evening – Saturday evening
• Checkout: Sunday, Sept 27 at 9AM
• Hunt mornings & evenings (bears move all day!)
