From Dingletown to Cooperstown: A Trip We’ll Never Forget ⚾️🦅
What a week. What a run. What a trip of a lifetime for the Seneca War Eagles 12U!
Our boys stepped onto the big stage at Cooperstown Dreams Park and showed everyone what Seneca baseball is all about: grit, toughness, teamwork, determination, and never giving up.
We opened pool play against the eventual #6 overall seed, battling through a fog-filled stadium in a game that didn’t end until 2:00 AM. We came up just short, 6-4, but that tough loss only fueled this group.
From there, the War Eagles rattled off four straight pool-play victories in a tough bracket, including an incredible walk-off home run and a dramatic win in extra innings. When pool play was over, our boys had earned a 4-1 record and the #22 seed out of 104 teams, securing a triple bye into the elimination bracket.
Then came elimination baseball.
The boys won a hard-fought elimination game to keep their Cooperstown journey alive, and then went toe-to-toe with an extremely talented regional club team. Through every inning, every pitch, and every challenge, they fought until the very end. They never backed down. They never stopped believing. They never stopped fighting.

Those numbers are impressive—but they don’t tell the whole story.
The real story was watching these boys become a brotherhood.
Between games, the bunkhouses became home. There were bunk mini-golf tournaments, endless snacks, millions of partially drank water bottles 😂, pin trading with teams from all over the country, late nights, early mornings, laughs, stories, and memories that these boys will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
For one unforgettable week, it wasn’t just about baseball. It was about friendship, brotherhood, teamwork, and growing together.
The coaches could not be more proud of this focused, talented, and determined group of young men. It was an absolute privilege to take the field with them and watch them compete, support one another, and represent Seneca with pride.
And now, the next chapter begins.
The boys have officially graduated from the small field and are ready to continue developing, competing, and chasing their dreams on the big field at 13U. ⚾️🦅
To all of the War Eagles families: THANK YOU. Your support, sacrifices, encouragement, and everything you did behind the scenes helped make this incredible experience possible. This trip would not have happened without you.
The games will eventually fade into memories. The stats will someday be forgotten.
But the friendships, the laughs in the bunks, the late nights, the big moments, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself?
Those memories will last a lifetime.
