Staying LIT means a lot to me in my transformation.
I know i am far from where I was, and I've moved through so many hills and valleys with so many more to come. While relationships on earth can and do bring life, this is only a fraction of the life and joy you can find in Jesus, the wellspring of eternal life. He knows me better than anyone else. As a single woman, it is easy to believe in our daydreaming, that if we would just meet the right person, then our life would be changed. But when our source of life is not found in Jesus, we will always be left and high and dry. Remember, another person can only provide us with so much. Instead, if we root ourselves in Jesus as a source of life, our relationships of all kinds will reflect the abundance He offers us.

Jesus said "Everyone who drinks from this water, will get thirsty again. But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again. In fact, the water I give him will become a well of water springing up in him for eternal life. John 4:13-14

God sees you, right where you are. However you feel you are not alone. Stay LIT with Him.

💖 Marriage, Growth, and Family 💖

I don't want to go back to how things were. I want to be better. I want to be a better version of myself, not just for me, but for my marriage and my kids. Every day is a new opportunity to change, grow, and build a stronger bond together. 💪

As parents, we're shaping not only the lives of our children but the legacy we leave behind. I want my children to see love, respect, and teamwork. I want them to know that growth isn't just about personal success—it's about growing together as a family. 🌱

Through every challenge, every victory, and every quiet moment in between, I'm committed to building something lasting. Here's to change, progress, and the beauty of becoming better, together. 💕

But then I realized: if we keep doing the same things, we'll keep getting the same results. So I decided to shake things up! I set new goals, embraced challenges, and surrounded myself with positivity. And you know what? It made all the difference!

"Reflecting on the journey of being a mother, a wife, and a leader in the L.I.T (Ladies In Transformation) nonprofit has been humbling and inspiring. There have been moments of pure joy and deep learning, intertwined with challenges that tested my patience and resolve. Yet through it all, I've come to appreciate the beauty of growth and the grace found in embracing imperfection.
As a mother, I've learned that each day is a new opportunity to nurture, guide, and cherish my children. They teach me patience, resilience, and the incredible capacity of a mother's love. From sleepless nights to triumphant milestones, every moment has shaped me into a better version of myself.
In my role as a wife, I've discovered that marriage is a journey of continuous discovery and mutual growth. It's about learning to communicate better, support each other's dreams, and navigate life's twists and turns as a team. My husband has been my rock through challenges and celebrations, teaching me the true meaning of partnership.
Being involved with L.I.T has deepened my sense of purpose as a mother and wife. The work I do with L.I.T has helped me grow in my own healing and transformation, and I’m honored to be part of a community that empowers women to embrace their journey of growth—physically, mentally, and spiritually. It has reminded me of the importance of self-care, the value of supporting others, and the strength that comes from shared experiences. Every step I take in L.I.T is a reflection of my commitment to grow, not just for myself but also for my family.
Working on myself hasn’t just been about personal growth; it's been about becoming the best mother, wife, and leader I can be. It's about learning to prioritize my own well-being, finding balance amidst the chaos, and always striving to lead by example for my family and the women we support at L.I.T.
Today, I celebrate the journey of motherhood, marriage, and leadership in L.I.T—a journey that’s messy, beautiful, and uniquely mine. I’m grateful for the lessons, the laughter, and the love that fill our home and the L.I.T community every day. Here’s to embracing every step of this incredible journey and growing stronger together, one day at a time."
