Arnies Hockey league stepped it up last night at the Excel Energy Center. Here are few highlights from last night. Thanks Tracy!!

1. Pierre "Bode" MacGuire was stationed between the benches for multiple in-game interviews, opinion, and banter.

2. There was video evidence of what appears to be Boots placing a puck into his secret left sleeve pocket. It was either that or pad adjustment. Toronto still has it under review.

3. We were 17,993 short of a sell out crowd (counting black vest usher guy), but it still felt packed in there.

4. The Ottawa Senators are short three equipment bags, please return those and there will be no questions.

5. Michael Russo was seen leaving the X right after our game. Keep your eyes on the star trib today.

6. Tom Reid's serves on hell of a Cape Cod

7. Billy + Poutine = the morning sh*ts I bet. ugh.

8. We passed about 7 cops with cars pulled over on the way home, and I thought I saw Lindstrom with hands on hood and feet spread. Turns out his hockey stick is a registered fire arm, and they let him go promptly.

Season update: week 4 in the books

Week 1 – after a short training camp for many we hit the ice full speed on 10/26. Lots of nerves early in the season… no one wanting to make a mistake in front of the scouts.. Needless to say it was a pretty even game… the draft committee was happy with the results.

Week 2 – Black decided to take it a little more serious and caught white off guard. There were a few questionable calls early in the game and white just couldn’t seem to shake it off. Black definably had the edge in this one, even though the score was still close. Good job goalies!!

Week 3 – Team White had a pregame dinner and talk about some of the things we could work on (legally without punishment) We said a team cheer on the bench and never looked back. White killed Black while they had two of their super stars were on the injured reserve with menstrual issues. Team White hopes you feel better.

Week 4 – Team White really walked into this one feeling bad about what had happened the week prior…. so I think many of us took the night off and watched Black skate in circles around themselves. Team White almost had their goalie skate off the ice in disgust…. we decide to pick up a notch for our goalie and made it a game, Black still had the edge in this one maybe….

Week 5 – guys to watch – keep an eye on Cory Bode. After taking a week off with a broken nail he will be looking to get back on the score sheet. Jim Grabianowski – 10 pounds lighter, and 5 mph faster is looking to get that first game starting position of his career, let’s hope the coaching staff keeps him up on the first line. Scott Eckers has put a bounty on Brian Peterson…. Let’s see who’s man enough to collect.
