Shakopee Trap Club Promoting the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship, teamwork & ethical behavior in the sport of trap. We are the Shakopee High School Team.

The Shakopee Trap Club is a non profit Minnesota corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. The purpose of the Shakopee Trap Club is to promote the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship, teamwork and ethical behavior. The Minnesota State High School Clay Target League is a non-profit organization and the independent provider of shooting sports as an extra curricular co-e

d activity to high schools. Their mission is to emphasize the positive influence shooting sports can have in an individual's life. The purpose of the league is to educate and develop youth, grades six through twelve by supporting their participation in the sport of trap safely and to participate in shooting sports while creating a friendly competition among high schools throughout Minnesota. Along with the assistance of parents, coaches and schools, high school teams shoot at their local club and compete "virtually" with other high schools throughout Minnesota. 🌟 Senior Spotlight: Elliott | Class of 2026 🌟

Today we’re proud to recognize Elliott, a dedicated member of the Shakopee Trap Team for the past 4 years!

🎯 Favorite Memory:
Traveling to Alexandria for the first time and experiencing the incredible trap shooting community. What started as a sport became so much more through the friendships, atmosphere, and unforgettable memories made along the way.

Elliott appreciates the unique balance of competition and camaraderie that trap shooting offers. It’s a sport built on respect, personal growth, and striving to improve while supporting those around you.

🎓 What’s Next?
Elliott plans to attend college, continue competing on a collegiate trap team, and stay involved in the sport he loves.
