Developing strength routines for my pregnant chicas is something I deeply enjoy. Here is a list of my go-to, staple exercises for my mamas to be!

A) DEADLIFTS are amazing for lower body strength & support + to offsetting low back pain & sciatica. However, the FORM changes & continues to change as baby weight is gained. That’s why it’s good to work with a professional. Cues I make for my pregnant clients are: (see pic 1)

B) SQUATS are a cornerstone for any trainer, with any client with pretty much any situation. However, there a certain varieties of squats I specifically like to teach my pregnant clients such as: (See pic 2)

C) This exercise in particular is one of my all time favorites for my pregnant clients. I personally performed this exercise every week for my own pregnancy routines. It activates the pelvic floor, builds baby pushing muscles, targets lower abs & helps w/healthy breathing patterns while under intense + consistent strain of the hip flexors.
PELVIC FLOOR in general is something that is drastically overlooked when building a quality pregnancy routine. This PF education is something I do not let my pregnant ladies go without. Other pelvic floor exercises I would recommend would be: (see pic 4)

D) It’s difficult for some women to run on a treadmill or even walk briskly due to the pressure on the lower extremities. Therefore, a trainer can substitute STEP UPS for hitting THR &/or zone specified markers. Other forms of PT pregnancy recommend cardio equipment include: (see pic 3)

I am really excited to announce that Trenti Training has re-branded to ! 🎉

After a whirlwind of a year with becoming a new mom, moving away, the gyms closing twice & the unfortunate closing of our studio location in Arden Hills, the Lord provided a ✨ NEW ✨ way when the path ahead seemed impossible. (That’s how my Heavenly Father rolls!)

I have so much to share & SO much has changed, BUT before I do, I need YOUR HELP! I want to take you along the re-branding process & I would 💛 your feedback!
