Reminder! Shakopee Indian’s Baseball Team is in the ELITE EIGHT in the MBA State Tourney 2026’s FINAL WEEKEND!
The Indians will take on the Northwest Orioles on Saturday morning (Sept. 5th) at 11:00am at Joe Schleper Baseball Stadium in Shakopee, MN!
If the Indians win, they will move onto the final four on Saturday afternoon, with the classy state championship game on Sunday at 3:00 PM.
We are still looking for 26 more volunteers to help put on a great show! For each shift you work, you receive a free meal ticket. And if you work more than one shift during the tournament, your name will automatically be in the drawing for a 40 inch smart TV!
 Saturday morning’s national anthem prior to the Indians’ game will feature Dave Plekkenpol from Stogie Joe Cigar Box Guitars! Dave is a lifetime Shakopee resident, a custom cigar box guitar builder, and a recording artist, with the song, “Takin My Sweet Time” (recorded with Keith Brooks and Friends) currently charting as #1 on the Black Dog Indie Country Radio Weekly Top 20!!
If we get some good crowds this weekend, we have a chance to help set a modern Day State tournament Attendance record!
