One of the biggest advantages for hunting in our part of Texas is the fact that during drought years, our deer herd suffers very little, due to the areas wheat fields and the abundance of forage for the wildlife. wing us to survey our herds throughout the year which keeps us informed on which feeders and food plots deer are using the most. We also use game cameras in several locations to document deer movement and feeding times. Our hunting land joins large ranches of 18,000 to 35,000 acres of brush. The large wheat fields on our property are drawing the wildlife onto the properties, so you never know what may show up on any given hunt.
