Ryder competed in the Area Code Games, East Coast Pro, and the 40-Man 18U USA Baseball Trials. Ryder was known as a five-tool p

layer specializing in the outfield and hitting. Ryder credits his hitting coach, Guillermo Martinez for his hitting style and success from the age of 12 and
throughout his baseball career.
