What. A. Show! As we've come to expect with all VFC shows, this card had it all - submissions, TKOs, controversy, drama, tragedy, comedy, and the kitchen sink!
As always, we're so grateful to Chuck Ward, Dennis Stinnett, and all the staff of the Cotton Eyed Joe for being the best partners we could ever ask for.
Thank you to Tim Loy for putting together another night of great fights.
Thank you to Lexi NDillon Carroll, James Wyatt, and the VFC logistic squad for always being so well prepared & competent. They get so little credit for all the hard work they do, but these people are the backbone of all of our shows!
Thanks to Jeff Hobbs for being the exciting voice of the cage that he always is. The fans have come to love and expect his dulcet tones whenever there's a cage fight and they're never disappointed :-)
Thanks to Morgan Hickam Farmer for helping with the set up & making sure people got paid ;-)
Thanks to Sarah Brooks for all her work leading up to the fight and all her help on fight night.
Thanks to Carina Denney & her daughter Hannah for running the PPV production during the show.
Much love to Christina Ricker, Dre Miley, Tim Hatch, Emilee King, & Chuck Ward for the commentary on the fights. It was a lot of fun listening to you all.
And last but not least thanks to UFC Fighter Shanna Young who jumped in last minute to be the ring girl when our regular ring girl had an emergency; that's pretty amazing of Shanna :-D
And with VFC 87 in the books, we at VFC are putting a lid on all shows until 2022. We've had so much fun putting shows on this year and glad we could help so many people reach their goals but our promoter (Eric Turner) doesn't have the time and energy to dedicate to shows at the moment due to some big goings on at his gym (Knoxville Martial Arts Academy) - expect an announcement on that front soon(ish)!
To everyone that has been a part of Valor Fighting Challenge shows this year: THANK YOU! To everyone who have heard rumors of our show's demise: not yet ;-) We'll be back next year and we'll pick up just fine where we left off. Until then, good luck and God bless everybody!
