We finished out the weekend with 8th in overall points. We finished 2nd in Thursday nights A feature, got 6th in Friday nights A feature, then finished out last night with a 10th place finish.

We came with a goal of just making the A main, we accomplished that and much more! We met new people and made a bunch of new friends. Beau Perkins Racing thank you for the fast kart all weekend, who knows, we might just have to come back for Red Bluff Nationals.

We started out yesterday 8th in our heat and went to 1st, that put us 1st in points so we had to start 6th in our qualifier. We had a good run from 6th to 2nd and that put us starting 10th in the A feature, we got up to 6th which got us high points for the night. We are 2nd in points overall so that puts us starting 8th in the 2nd qualifier for today. Hopefully we can lock into the A feature for tonight and go forward from there. Thank you to Beau Perkins Racing for a fast kart every night!

Our weekend at the Outlaw Kart Showdown – Endi didn’t go quite as planned!

Friday started off strong.
Heat 1: Kruize charged from 6th to 3rd with a solid run.

Heat 2: Things took a turn. He started 2nd, but on the first lap was in a wreck, and another kart ended up running over the top of his hood. His foot was smashed between the brake pedal and the steering shaft, and he wasn’t able to finish the race.

A huge thank-you to the track workers and the EMT who got to Kruize right away. They took great care of him. His foot was hurting pretty badly, but in true Kruize fashion, he was determined to get back in the seat for Saturday.

Saturday: He started 9th in the A-Feature and battled his way to a 7th-place finish.

Thank you to everyone who helped Kruize this week after the wreck. We appreciate every one of you!

What a month it’s been! We started out the month going up to Viola Illinois to race Box Stock, we went with the goal of making the A feature. We came up short finishing 8th in the B feature. While we didn’t get the results we wanted we learned so many valuable lessons that it made the trip worth it.

We raced the next weekend at Texoma Speedway on Friday and Saturday. We finished 4th in JR2 and got the WIN in JR3 on Friday night. Saturday we finished 2nd in both classes, we’ve got a couple of things to work on to find a little more speed.

This past weekend we raced at Texoma Speedway for the championship weekend. We got the WIN in JR2 with a really fast kart, this win clinched the season championship for us in JR2!
In JR3 we had a fast kart but our crew chief “dad” forgot to tighten the valve cover bolts after the last race so the bolts fell out and in the feature we lost the motor a few laps in. Sometimes lessons like that are tough in the moment but rarely forgotten so I’m sure it won’t happen again.


We’ve got a few local races left that we will post about in the next week or two.

We made our way to Kam Raceway in Rhome,TX this past weekend. This is our first time to run this track with our new QRC karts, we made some big progress in our overall speed and handling.
Friday Heats
JR1 1st heat we started 5th and ran 3rd.
JR2 1st heat we started 5th and finished 5th.
Both karts had decent speed, we made a few changes for Saturday to get them a little better.

Saturday Heats
JR1 2nd heat we started 1st and finished 1st.
JR2 2nd heat we started 3rd and finished 1st.
We knew these finishes would put us closer to the front of the feature in both classes.

Saturday Feature
JR1 Feature we started 5th and finished 4th, the kart was really fast just couldn’t get around the two karts battling each other in front of us.
JR2 Feature we started 5th and finished 5th, we had good speed we just couldn’t get around the kart in front of us clean.

This was a good start to our outdoor race season, we learned some lessons with these new QRC karts and what they like.

We are looking forward to racing in Wichita Falls this Saturday at Texoma Speedway if the weather holds out.

Friday: Jr1 Heat 1 started 3rd finished 2nd
Jr2 Heat 1 started 3rd finished 2nd
Saturday: Jr 1 Heat 2 started 2nd finished 1st
Jr 2 Heat 2 started 3rd finished 2nd

Jr1 Feature: started 2nd finished 2nd
Jr2 Feature: Started 2nd finished 1st

First we would like to thank MWRS Indoor Winter Series for a fun weekend of racing!!! 🏁🏁🏁

Kruize enjoyed being back in his karts this weekend. He brought home Second place in both Jr1 & Jr2 feature. He drove his line and tried a few times to get around for First place but his friend Grayson didn’t budge from his line. It was good clean racing and that’s all we could ask for.

Kruize’s Little brother, Kreed, made his racing debut this weekend in young guns. We were all proud of him.

That's a wrap for the High Desert Hustle race!

I earned the Hard Charger award for my class! 🏆

I made it out of the B to start the A 16th. With a little bit of luck and a fast kart, I moved up 11 positions and finished 5th.

I can't thank Beau Perkins Racing enough for the fast kart and all the help this week. It was a week I will never forget. 🏁
