Took 23 to a takedown tourney to get them started for the season. It was a fun and good start, and now looking forward to some duals this coming weekend!!

Kaliee finished the week at scholastic duals going 5-5 on the HS All-Star level. Very impressive weekend with some solid competition. This girl will be a State Champ!!

They are truly impressive!!!

I want to give a huge shout out to these three women. There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes. It’s a full-time job and these three have figured out how to do it better than anyone I know…. from planning out uniforms, parties, awards, tournaments, hotels, scheduling, and so much more, Haley Kear-Henry, Ashley Miller, and Anastasia Crain are amazing! You all are awesome and we couldn’t do it without you ;)

Thank you coach Crain for this award. I was surprised. I have learned so much from you and everyone else who pours into this program. Thank you for running with some of my ideas and more importantly raising the money to pay for them. We have amazing parents and wrestlers…and we are growing everyday. Let’s keep this train moving!!

S3 (Seymour strength and stamina) just started. There are two groups, MS age and Elementary age. Information is in the photos.

Just going back and adding a bunch of photos from S3 training starting this time last year up until the end of the season. What a great team and family environment we had this season. These guys and girls really respect each other and work hard together. This is the time to get back into it. S3 is currently going on. Freestyle/Greco still has a few weeks. Then watch for camps.

Seymour Middle School Wrestling is part of the Seymour Wrestling Club. We have a High School, Middle School, Youth, and Beginners program for boys and girls. However, this page will be focused on the middle school wrestlers (grades 6-8). Our team is designed to be a feeder program into the Seymour High School, but we are not a sanctioned team in Tennessee, so anyone can participate. The folk-style season runs from November to March, with many opportunities to train and compete during the off season, including a freestyle and greco roman season from March to May and S3 (Seymour strength and stamina) from May-August.
