The Seymour Football League is kicking off this school year (2024) in a new way! We will be offering youth football players in 1st -4th grade the opportunity to represent Seymour Football and their school for FREE! All equipment is paid for and distributed on a day TBD. The only thing players will provide is cleats and secondary equipment (Visor, arm sleeve, mouth piece, etc.) All players in 1st and 2nd grade will play in our Flag football league (Some may be eligible to play tackle depending on parental/league sign off and ht./weight. requirements met.) All players in 3rd and 4th grade will participate in our tackle league. Parents of 3rd/4th graders may elect to play flag football if desired.

All registered players will be placed on teams in accordance to the school they attend. Please note that Due to smaller numbers at some elementary/private schools there may be players placed on another team to help accommodate spots. This will be decided by registration order.

This is the home for Seymour High School Camps. Camps are located in Seymour, IN.

It was a great last game day Saturday! A little rain did not ruin the competition and fun! We can’t believe the season is over but we are looking forward to next year! Thank you to Mark Holt for his generous donation to our program this year. Your generosity is so appreciated from the youth of Seymour! Thanks for coming out to our games yesterday and supporting us!

Reminder that all flag football players will be recognized for youth night tonight at the high school football game! Players wear your flag football shirts for free entry into the game! We will be recognized at half time. With a few minutes to go in the 2nd quarter, please meet behind the end zone closest to the grass practice field that we play on each Saturday! See you tonight! 🏈Important Announcements!!🏈

* NO PRACTICE THURSDAY OCT. 5th

* Friday, October 6th is ” Youth Recognition Night” at the SHS football game. Players will get in free with their flag football shirts on. Parents and siblings will not get in for free. Towards the end of the 2nd quarter please send your child to the area behind the end zone closest to our grass practice field. We will be introduced as a group during halftime. Players will exit through the middle gate on the track and find parents.

* Saturday October 7th is the Oktoberfest Parade! We are unit #55. Please look for this number when dropping your player off at the high school. We will be lining up along Community Drive in front of Seymour High School. Please arrive between 12-1230pm. We will walk the parade route and end at Emerson Elementary’s back parking lot. PARENTS MUST MEET US AT EMERSON SCHOOL TO PICK YOUR CHILD UP AS SOON AS THE PARADE IS OVER!! Plan to walk from where you are watching the parade to pick your child up because roads will be closed and driving will be difficult. Please be respectful of our coaches and their time and pick your child up in a timely manner. Thank you!!
