SEYMOUR, TEXAS; A memorable moment took place June 21, 2026 at the Seymour Golf Course when Salt Fork Golf Course Greensman Sean Weiser achieved one of golf’s rarest accomplishments—a hole-in-one. While participating in a golf scramble, Mr. Weiser stepped onto Hole No. 3, a 115-yard par-3
that has challenged countless golfers over the years. With precision, confidence, and exceptional shot making ability, he struck a clean shot from the tee box. The ball launched perfectly toward the green and, to the excitement of everyone watching, hit directly into the cup for a flawless hole-in-one. Witnesses were present to experience the remarkable moment, including Jeff Brasher, Clayton Brasher, Krosby Anderson, Matthew Strickland, Nick Perryman, and Shannon Donnell, all of whom saw the shot find the bottom of
the cup.

For those who know Sean, this accomplishment comes as no surprise. While a hole-in-one is an achievement many golfers spend a lifetime pursuing, Mr. Weiser’s dedication to the game and years of experience have made him one of the area’s most accomplished players. As many around the course would say—this was not his first great shot, and it likely will not be his last. Beyond his talent as a golfer, Mr. Weiser serves as the lead Greensman for Salt Fork Golf Course, where his attention to detail and commitment to excellence help maintain outstanding playing conditions for members and visitors alike. His background in competitive golf includes participation in numerous PGA qualifying events and collegiate golf experience at Tyler Junior College and Baptist Bible College.

The City and golf community are proud to celebrate this outstanding achievement and the continued dedication Mr. Weiser brings both as a player and as a steward of the course. His work, alongside fellow Greensman Shawn Sanchez, continues to elevate the quality and reputation of Seymour Golf Course. If you see Sean around town or out at the course, take a moment to congratulate him on an incredible shot and thank both Sean and Shawn for the outstanding work they continue to do maintaining one of Seymour’s great community assets.
