Concordia University, Nebraska - Golf put together a solid final two rounds of the Blue River Classic and concluded the 11th annual event in 10th place at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln. The leaders for the Bulldogs included sophomores Tyler Weismann and Calvin Zabloudil and senior Jacob Dowd. Head Coach Brett Muller's squad will return to action at the Siouxland Invite next week.

Concordia University Nebraska - Volleyball and its whiteout crowd were ready for 16th-ranked Midland. The Bulldogs stifled the Warrior attack to the tune of an unsightly -.025 hitting percentage on the strength of a 7-2 blocking advantage. Concordia sent its rival from nearby packing, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17, on Wednesday (Sept. 9) night. Next up, Head Coach Ben Boldt's squad (10-2, 1-0 GPAC) will host College of Saint Mary on Saturday afternoon.

Abby Haynes dialed up a last second score to break even (1-1) after 90 minutes of play in the GPAC-KCAC clash on Wednesday night. Concordia University, Nebraska - Women's Soccer continued to possess the ball in the second half as the resilience paid off in the final moments.

An uncharacteristically high score in round one cost the Bulldogs a chance at placing within the top five of the Siouxland Invite. However, the Concordia University, Nebraska - Golf women's team rebounded in round two on Wednesday (Sept. 9), shooting a 321, three strokes off a program record for 18 holes. Four Bulldogs carded scores of 83 or lower at The Ridge Golf Club in Sioux Center, Iowa, Next up for Head Coach Brett Muller's squad will be the Lila Frommelt Classic on Sept. 16.

Four Bulldogs shot 83 or better on Wednesday (Sept. 9) as Concordia jumped one spot to eighth in the final Siouxland Invite standings. The Bulldogs shot 321 in round two.

Kansas Citian Devin Harris transferred to Concordia University, Nebraska Shooting Sports after two seasons at another institution, and he's not ready to leave the Bulldogs, even after earning his degree in Business Administration. Says Harris, "There were a lot of schools I saw where I walked on campus and thought, ‘Man, this is a Christian school in name only.’ Concordia was the first one I stepped on and said, ‘You know, I think this is where I need to be." Harris is chasing lofty goals as a graduate student.

Devin Harris felt he had unfinished business following two years as a Bulldog. Now a graduate student, Harris is back to soak up more time with teammates while chasing lofty goals.

Lots of fall sports action this week! It's detailed in our Bulldog Weekly Report. Coming up, volleyball is at home Wednesday (WHITEOUT!) and Saturday and women's soccer hosts its senior day on Saturday. Additionally, men's golf will be close to home at Highlands in Lincoln on Wednesday-Thursday. Our Bulldog Athletics Association Member Athletes of the Week are Laynee Baker of volleyball and Kai Olbrich of men's soccer. Go Bulldogs!

Playing their second game in three days, the Bulldogs tried to earn a win on the trip in Iowa, but the late push came as the time was running out against Grand View University, 3-1, on Labor Day. The two teams traded blows in the second half, but the Vikings held on to a lead thwarting many of Concordia University, Nebraska - Men's Soccer's final touches.

The Bulldogs had a tall task to steal one on the road against top-five ranked William Penn University on Saturday night. Concordia University, Nebraska - Men's Soccer held on to the home side until midway through the second half, but the No. 4 Statesmen put two in the back of the net to secure the final (2-0).

Concordia University Nebraska - Volleyball had University of Saint Francis (Ind.) overmatched on Saturday (Sept. 5) evening. The Bulldogs landed six aces in the first set, proceeded to hit .400 in the second and made quick work of the Cougars, 25-19, 25-16, 25-16, on day two at the College of Saint Mary Labor Day Classic in Omaha. Makenna Starkey stood out with seven kills and four blocks. Head Coach Ben Boldt's squad will gear up to host No. 16 Midland on Wednesday to open conference play. Fans are encouraged to wear white to support the whiteout!

A sharp and focused performance resulted in a sweep of Saint Francis (Ind.) as the third-ranked Bulldogs wrapped up a 3-0 weekend at the CSM Labor Day Classic. Makenna Starkey and Laynee Baker starred.

Late in the night, Concordia University, Nebraska - Cross Country kicked off the 2026 season at a hot and muggy Augustana Twilight. The Bulldogs emerged with place finishes of sixth on the men's side and 10th on the women's side while up against a strong field made up of all divisions of college athletics. The individual leaders for Head Coach Matt Beisel's squads were Trey Robertson and Hope Beck. Next up will be the Greeno-Dirksen Invite on Sept. 19.

A mix of veterans and rookies helped spur both Concordia teams to top 10 place finishes at a hot and muggy Augustana Twilight. The top Dawgs were senior Trey Robertson and freshman Hope Beck.
