It's been roughly 20 years since her graduation, but Concordia University, Nebraska - Track & Field alum Molly (Engel) Christensen and her accomplishments stand the test of time. Molly starred for three separate Bulldog teams that placed as NAIA national runners up. In multiple interviews since Molly's Concordia Athletics Hall of Fame induction in 2013, she reflected on her journey as a Bulldog. She now serves as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Florida. Said Molly, "I fell in love with the environment and the Christian atmosphere and small campus feel." Congrats to Concordia University, Nebraska - Wrestling's Cole Price on being named Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators for the second time in his career! That's Coach Price now!

Now an assistant coach on the wrestling staff, graduate Cole Price has been honored as an Academic All-District honoree by CSC for the second time in his career.

Concordia University, Nebraska Shooting Sports has finalized a 2026-27 competition schedule featuring nine total events throughout the upcoming academic year. The ’26-27 campaign will mark the 13th season in the program’s history and fifth season for Dylan Owens as head coach. As part of the slate, the Bulldogs will host the Concordia Sporting Invitational for the 11th time and will be headed back to San Antonio for the 2027 ACUI Collegiate Clay Target National Championships.

Across many Concordia University, Nebraska sports, individual records were broken and even shattered during the 2025-26 athletic year. The run of new standards began in the fall with running back Carlos Collazo’s rushing outburst and continued with the exploits of Adrianna Rodencal on the track and Alex Johnson on the pitcher’s mound. Impressively, Nick Velders of the men’s tennis program achieved perfection during the second semester. Check out our rundown of individual records broken in 2025-26.

The 2025-26 athletic year saw many records broken by standout Bulldog individuals. It started in the fall with Carlos Collazo establishing a new single-game rushing standard.

On the heels of another top two finish in the GPAC All-Sports Standings, Concordia University, Nebraska Athletics vaulted to No. 27 in the final 2025-26 Learfield Directors’ Cup NAIA Standings released on June 10. This past academic year, we accumulated 220 NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards while 17 of our teams placed in the top four of their respective conference standings. Go Bulldogs!

Tristan Smith is nothing but thankful for a college basketball career that landed him at Concordia for four memorable years and then at UNI for an appearance on the March Madness stage. When Tristan moved to Cedar Falls, the support from Concordia followed. Said Tristan, "It was awesome. It just goes to show you the level of community at Concordia and the support around athletics." The Concordia University, Nebraska - Cheer & Dance programs have announced their 2027 competition schedules! Both teams will have at least six regular season competitions, including the Concordia Invite (Feb. 6). The GPAC Championships will be hosted by Midland.
