UPDATE-- Cell Towers STILL DOWN AT BOAT LAUNCH.
OUR inreach or Facebook messenger if I'm in service etc. Cell phone towers are down again and we're hindered by communication a bit today....
We have wifi etc. Only when at boat launch

This is so wrong but I couldn't help but share....
I as a woman I realize that there's so much that hormones play a factor in....
But they'll never for me play a factor in harming my kids in such a way that she did. That's unforgivable.... just my opinion as a woman.
We all f up our kids from our emotional baggage, bad childhood, bad choices etc. They didn't deserve their ending.
So many people who would love to have a family would have taken those children.
There's always another option... anyways, you men stay safe out there cause if these wives lose it on you.... there's a whole bunch of people that'll send her bail money!

The season isn't over.... but so far this group has the largest rack and I didn't think anyone would beat the group from a couple weeks ago!

Been one of the slowest seasons this year by far.
Caribou were down much lower than normal for us.

Several groups are thankful for their harvest and were not large bulls by any means. They were exactly the real reason they made the trip for meat to feed their family and the experience to be in Alaska, where some of the great wild things truly are.

Chanoa Halford puts its all in perspective for us. Good job and way to grind through it!!!
Sometimes it's about the experience and not the harvest of Caribou solely.
We realize we all have the trip planned on our minds but it doesn't always go that way.
Appreciate the opportunity that God gives us for the experiences and know that it's not always in his plan for us to take animals at this time.
We also have an empty freezer this year and it's our main food normally. But yet we're still blessed to look at these mountains everyday.
