Dear Members & Seward Community-

It has come to my attention that I can no longer ignore the rumors after it was brought to my attention that several people are going out of their way to contact my loyal members directly with false information.

Seward Fitness is NOT CLOSING and at this time there is no plan in the near future to close the gym. I will say that it has been harder than anticipated to stay in business since the opening of the Seward Wellness Center. It is hard for small induvial owned business to compete with tax funded organizations or larger corporations. This is true for all of our locally owned business, whether it is me with the gym, small local retailer with Walmart, or Pac N Save with Walmart & Super Saver.

I’m thankful everyday for the loyal customers that chose to stay with me and see the problem with taxes funding a competitive business model. The Wellness Center is beautiful and I’m sure it fulfills some needs of the community, however just remember is already has and will continue to affect other local business in a negative way.

At this time Seward Fitness is open and will remain open, at anytime if that plan changes, I will notify my members directly. If you have questions or have been contacted directly by the mentioned people, please feel free to reach out at anytime. I will say email is the best route, as I do work full time for another business and not always available to take phone calls.
