The Course at Sewanee is a 9 hole golf course located on the mountain-top campus of the University of the South. The Course was recently redesigned by Gil Hanse. Hanse, who earned Golf magazine's Architect of the Year Award in 2009, has designed some of the nation's finest courses as well as championed the design of the 2016 Olympic Course in Rio. Some examples of Hanse and his team's work, can been seen at the Taconi.

The Annual University of the South Alumni Classic featured two exceptional days of golf last Friday and Saturday, filled with great play and even better fellowship. ⛳

This year’s event welcomed 80 players who competed across 36 holes of friendly competition, camaraderie, and Sewanee spirit.

Congratulations to Team Delozier for capturing the championship with an impressive score of 114! 🏆

Thank you to all who participated and helped make this year’s Alumni Classic another memorable event. We look forward to next year's event.
