We recently stopped a 13-year-old riding an illegal electric motorcycle at Ventura Community Park.

The teen was observed traveling about 35 mph on park walkways near pedestrians before being stopped. The e-moto was towed and placed on a 48-hour hold, and the rider was cited for multiple violations, including no registration, unlicensed driving, lack of motorcycle endorsement, and not wearing a proper helmet.

Park pathways are meant for walkers, families, and cyclists, not high-speed motorized vehicles. Riding illegally in these areas puts everyone at risk.

Parents and riders: please make sure e-bikes and e-motorcycles are legal, properly registered, and operated safely.

Electric Patti and I spent Thursday morning moving bikes out and bringing pallet racks in! That freed up a bunch of floor space occupied by large box merchandise and gives me a bit more room to work.

Law enforcement continues to find ways to enforce e-BIKE rules which typically means you and your e-MOTO will be off the streets. This is especially true of teens riding around with no respect for traffic laws.

Gilbert police are using drones to track reckless e-bike riders instead of engaging in dangerous pursuits. The goal is to improve public safety by monitoring riders from the air and coordinating with officers on the ground, rather than chasing them with patrol vehicles.

Police say many of these electric bikes are being ridden illegally and pose risks to pedestrians, drivers, and the riders themselves. The department is also focusing on education so residents understand which electric bikes are legal to ride on streets and bike paths.

FedEx needs remedial reading like the foreign truck drivers that can’t read English. You would think the arrow should be recognized by any non-English speaker! One driver rolled a bike across the street instead of asking for help.

At the moment I do have some good drivers, but I think the warehouse is clueless. Maybe “Mayhem”, a guy I worked with for a short time at Scott’s is working at the FedEx warehouse now. 🤣🤣

Success!!

There was a multitude of problems but today’s service tech was great. Everything is working now except the credit card terminal. That should be easily fixed with help from my cash register people.

Kennedy is awesome!! I’ve known about him and listened to his remarks about public health for about 20 years. Hes always been right. I don’t know where the falsehoods about vaccines came from, but most of us who are health conscious know modern vaccines are crap and full of dangerous side effects..cue up the tv commercials…..”AND DEATH!”

Don’t skip this presentation. It’s not super long but it could save your life or even your child or grandchildren. It’s a rare when someone in political office really DOES care about the people they represent.

Took in a couple of Amazon bikes against my better judgement. 🙄

The other bike has a bad rear wheel, and the headlight wires were ripped out.

This bike was simple for electronics. The harness had the display plug too short, so it pulled apart. THEN I found a potential problem for the future. Where the cables exit the top of the downtube is right where the fork hits when it’s turned. I’m sure this will damage cables sometime in the future.

BAD engineering!!

I recently found out that the store phone 330.975.4401 has not been working. My service was through Medina fiber, which had a name change to Lit Fiber and was recently sold to Omnifiber in Mason, OH.

So far Omnifiber seems to be clueless about fixing a problem. One tech I talked to said I don’t have phone service on my account. Another one said it was a “register” problem. In the meantime nobody can call in and talk to me. Equipment was tested a few weeks ago and declared fine when I called about a different issue. The only good part about this is I can get a lot more done. But it’s not helpful to customers or potential customers.

Bear with me while I try to get phone service restored.

Did something I had not done in a long time!

Changed a motorcycle tire.

It was the chunkiest hardest tire I have EVER mounted. It was for an electric motorcycle. Everybody else said no..!

I said no problem.

The customer and his friends had poked holes in 3 tubes before finding me. It’s hard to patch slots in a tube made by screwdrivers. 😱

Customer showed up with new tubes. I didn’t poke a hole. I’ve done a LOT of motorcycle tires over the years.

I learned long ago that ANY electrical component that has a blob of electrical tape around it is trouble and needs attention to fix it right. Today is no exception!
