We offer classes in Karate, Sport Martial Arts, Fight Fit, Sparring, and Tumbling for all ages! Here at Diversity Martial Arts we believe that martial arts is much more than a hobby or a sport. We believe it is a way of life; a way of life that instills integral values that apply to everything you will use in your daily routines. Honesty, integrity, discipline, perseverance, respect, dedication, effort, work ethic and courage are the principles that we hold in the highest regard in our teaching. Diversity will strive to find a balance of these principles along with the physical conditioning that will inevitably follow in martial arts training. Diversity Martial Arts uses a diverse curriculum. Our primary style is American Kenpo, however, we believe that to be a true martial artist you should explore many styles. That being said, students will explore Korean and Japanese styles as well. Also, we offer a competition team to compete in Sport Martial Arts tournaments. Martial Arts can deliver all of the best aspects of the human condition to anyone willing to be dedicated to the pursuit of excellence involved in becoming a martial artist. Diversity Martial Arts is just one stepping stone on a great and vast journey and we hope you start and continue your journey with us.

We talked about this a little bit in one of our classes today. Accountability. Open up this conversation with your kids. There are printouts in the dojo of this if you’d like a copy to take home. It’s also written on the white board in the dojo. We will go into the conversation of accountability a little more next week.

For all of those that expressed interest in doing Zoom classes Sensei Deon will be putting together a group text and contacting you all some time next week (week of July 27). Please make sure Sensei Deon has your current phone number. If you haven’t already contacted Sensei Deon and are interested in doing Zoom classes please do so as soon as you can.
