Balance isn’t just a skill we teach, it’s the overall theme of our Fall session.

To your kiddo, adding an obstacle to the beam just makes it more fun. To us, it’s doing so much more — building focus, coordination, and the kind of confidence that comes from figuring out something tricky, one careful step at a time.

Happy 1st Day of School to our Gymbugs!

We get asked about preschool readiness all the time, ‘is 3 years old too young?’ ‘what signs should show us he/she is ready?’ etc., so we figured we’d lay out some of the main contenders!

Swipe through, and remember, even though today is our first day of school, there’s no application deadline here, no semester cutoff. Whenever your child turns 3 throughout the year, we’re here!

The spinning. The endless, dizzy, why-won’t-they-stop spinning.

Turns out it’s not random — it’s their vestibular system asking for input. That spinning helps build:

🔵 balance + coordination
🔴 body awareness + focus
🟡 that ‘where am I in space’ sense that makes everything else click

So instead of stopping it, we guide it with purpose in class. Try it at home: spin together (both directions!), then freeze — that stop-and-steady is where the magic happens. Save this for the next spin session!

Real talk: most preschools make you plan an entire year around an arbitrary cut-off date that has nothing to do with your actual kid. Ours doesn’t work that way. Turns 3 in December? Great! March? See you then! As long as there’s room, you’re in — no semester windows, no application deadline to stress about.
