The Sergeant Bluff Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of facilities and activities for your enjoyment. These facilities include several community parks, a sports complex with baseball and softball fields, an indoor batting facility, an outdoor municipal pool and the Sergeant Bluff Community Center. Additionally, the City offers many leisure activities through the Recreation Department at the Sergeant Bluff Community Center.

The Sergeant Bluff Splash Pad will be closing for the season on Sunday, September 20th.

The August 26on26 trash clean up was a success!

With the help of our amazing volunteers, we were able to fill 13 trash bags with trash from the drainage ditches along South Lewis Boulevard.

Thank you to Aggies Catering for providing lunch for our volunteers!

The Sergeant Bluff Community Center holds Open Gym after school from 3:30-4:45 on Monday—Friday! *

*The Sergeant Bluff Parks and Recreation department does not follow the same schedule as the SBL Community Schools. Open Gym times are subject to be changed or canceled due to events in the building.

We do not provide balls or equipment for open gym.

REMINDER: Fireworks will take place tonight (8/15/26) at 10:00 PM at the Rec Complex (903 Topaz) during intermission of the concert at Pioneer Auto.
Please park in the Community Center lot(s) or other nearby parking areas.
Fireworks will be discharged from a location south of the parking lot(s) — the public must remain far back from the discharge zone for safety
